Biotechnology innovation
BIOVAL was formed at the end of 2006 to increase the opportunities and further develop the biotechnology sector and become a means of growth, both socially and economically, for the Valencian Region.
BIOVAL agrupa a más de 40 empresas biotecnológicas de la Comunidad Valenciana, además de centros de investigación y tecnológicos, universidades y hospitales cuya actividad de investigación está vinculada a la biotecnología.
Services
Biotechnology companies and organizations
Foster cooperation between biotechnology companies and organizations in order to better develop the Valencian region as a BioRegion.
Represent the sector’s interest in front of Governmental agencies.
Manage a calendar of events for relevant courses, trade events, and conferences.
Facilitate the transfer and implementation of biotechnology into sectors where it is traditionally used as well as untraditional sectors.
Offer assistance on the creation of small or medium biotechnology companies.
Research and Knowledge consulting for its members:
- Organize government subsidies, research grants and other sources of financing.
- Organize events for the advancement of biotechnology.
- Provide an employment and internship database to assist both employers and possible candidates.
- Offer consulting services on technical, legislative and market aspects.
- Promote internationalization and the establishment of alliances and R&D collaborations.

Bioval
All organizations actively working in R&D and Biotechnolgy and based in the Valencian Community are eligible for entrance.
